Inter v Chelsea

Chelsea travel to Italy this evening to face former manager Jose Mourinho and it promises to be one of the most interesting games of the season so far.

The Blues have been in the news as much for the off field activities of their players in recent weeks, but this game gives them a great chance to let their football talking. If they can silence Mourinho that is.

The one time Stamford Bridge boss has had plentry to say ahead of the match, as expected,

""I know Chelsea well but that doesn't mean it's easier, sometimes it's more difficult."

"Sometimes it's more difficult because when you know so much about the team, if you don't decide what is the right information to give to the your new players about your old players, you can get into trouble.

"I played against Porto with Chelsea the next year after I left - 2004/2005 with Chelsea - it was my team, my players, I knew everything about them and it was not easy.

"We won one game, we lost another one, so it's not easy,"

For all that he is playing down his sides chances, Mourinho will be expecting his side to justify the 7/4 odds and win the game, but considering the fact that Inter have lost to English opposition the last two seasons, it doesn't look the greatest of bets.

That isn't to say backing Chelsea at 19/10 is a safer proposition, as the Blues have had plenty of problems on the road this year. The game looks to have draw written all over it and at 21/10 across the board it could well be wort a bet.
