CARLING CUP FINAL

Carling Cup Final

Aston Villa will be looking to cause a shock at Wembley today when they take on Manchester United and at prices of 7/2 and better, they look good value to do so.

The two teams have met twice this season, with Villa winning at Old Trafford, before a 1-1  draw at Villa Prk a couple of weeks ago. The price available on a Villa win in 90 minutes on the exchanges is too big.

Obviously it is going to be a tough task for Martin O'Neil and his young side, but they look more than capable of rising to the challenge.

United haven't looked the most secure at the back in recent weeks and will once again be without Rio Ferdinand.

The Champions and reigning Carling Cup holders will not give up their trophy easily, but there chances look to rest on the braod shoulders of Wayne Rooney. If the England striker is on form they will take som stopping, but if he has an off day as he did at Everton last week, United could struggle.

The game looks set to be tight, but at the prices, Villa look to be the value.
