FA CUP SHOCKS ARE RARER THAN YOU THINK

SHOCKS ARE RARER THAN YOU THINK

16th January 2018

There is a belief that FA Cup shocks are common, but they are far less common than people think.

Despite wholesale changes to team selection most teams from a higher league beat a lower league club. So Leeds and Stoke fans will disagree, but in truth the day of the cup shock is less and less.

No non-league sides made the third round for the first time in over 40 years and despite some scares the sides facing replays won't get stung again.

Leicester look sure to have a stronger bench having struggled to beat Fleetwood with ten chnages last time. The same applies to West Ham who have improved that much in the league, david Moyes can have a look upwards not downwards and a cup run would certainly aid his cause.

Sheff Weds and Reading can surely beat League 2 sides with home advantage. That leaves Cardiff City - Neil Warnock will again make changes as his injury hit side is just recovering its league form aftaer a dire December.

Warnock has no great cup pedigree, but at 11/10 Cardiff can be trusted. The acca pays over 10/1
