Arsenal's season still has life in it - just - but Arsene Wenger will know his season is over if they lose tonights tie with Milan

A fantastic night in Italy saw the Gunners take a 2-0 lead to North London and it would be a brave punter who predicts an Italian come-back. If it ends all square the Italians would have to ahve scored three to overhaul Arsenal's two away goals and that is highly unlikely.

Hammered by Man City in the League Cup final, almost certainly out of the race for a Champions League place, and humiliated by Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup - a win in the Europa Cup is the only hope of salvation.

After four straight defeats the win over Milan came out of the blue, and you would hope they adopt a better attitude than they did against the Swedes Ostersunds in the last tie - the Gunners also led that by two away goals but still gave their fans a nervous time losing the match but winning the tie.

Milan are 11/1 shots to match Ostersunds 2-1 win, and 27/10 to win the game in 90 minutes.

No shock that the Gunners are no bigger than 1/10 with Betfred to qualify - a brave punt that would be given Arsenal's current frailties and the Italians will change their tactics the longer the agme goes on if they haven't reduced the deficit.

A draw will suit Arsenal and they will not be going all out for a third - the draw-draw HT/FT result is a big price at 13/2 with Betway.
